Circulation: Online Students

To Renew Online (one renewal only per item):

Log into Library account:

• From the library homepage (https://www.messiah.edu/murraylibrary) 

• Under Library Resources, click on “Renewing Library Materials”

• Click on the “Access Your Account” button.  This will take you directly into PRIMO

• Near the top right click on “Sign In”

• Choose “Messiah students, educators, staff login”

• Enter Username: (Messiah username)

• Enter Password: (Messiah password)

• Click “Login”

• Click on “your name” in upper right corner

• Click on “Library Card” to view online account information

Renew Library materials:

• Click on Loans

• Check the box next to each item you want to renew

• Click on Renew, Renew Selected, or Renew All

• New due dates will appear for those items that have been successfully renewed 

• NOTE: If your materials are already overdue you cannot renew online. Call the library to renew (see below)

To Renew by Phone:

Please call (717)691-6006, ext.3860 to renew your library materials over the phone.  Someone at the Circulation Desk will be glad to help.  Make note of new due date for each item.

Murray Library circulation staff will mail books from Messiah's own Library collection to online students upon request. Search the Library catalog for books you need and fill out a request form for each book.

The circulation period is the current semester, with no renewals.

Students are responsible to return books in person or via U.S. Mail (send Media Mail). If mailing books back, be sure to get a receipt from the post office (preferably with a tracking number) to keep track of your returns.

We are unable to mail books/materials to student outside the United States and those with a Mechanicsburg ZIP code (17050, 17055).
