Mobile Options


  • EBSCO Databases  
    Rating
    Download the EBSCOHost app from itunes or android market (free). Scroll to the bottom of any EBSCO database and click the link "iPhone and Android Applications." Then while in your mobile device, select the link in the email that is sent to you from EBSCO. The access will last for nine months; you then simply have to repeat the confirmation process again.
  • American Chemical Society Publications  
    Rating
    Download the iphone/ipad or droid app from itunes or android market ($). Connect on Messiah's wireless network, or on Messiah VPN. Search ACS journals and access full-text holdings.
  • ArtStor  
    Rating
    Only Apple devices work at this time, and you will need to register in ArtStor for an account.
  • BioOne  
      
    BioOne provides a searchable aggregation of over 65 bioscience research journals from more than 50 publishers. Mobile-friendly. Select "View Mobile Site" at top of screen.
  • JSTOR

  • PubMed  
    Rating
    Select PubMed Mobile link on the PubMed homepage.
  • Refworks  
    Rating
    You are required to input the group code. Please use the following "RWMessiahC"
  • ScienceDirect Mobile app  
    Rating
    App available for iphone, ipad, and android. You must first register and create an account in ScienceDirect through the library website, and provide your college email address. Then download the SciVerse Science Direct app. You can then access all full-text articles available through the library subscription, and save or email articles.
