If you are interested in hosting an exhibit at Murray Library, please complete the 2 attached forms, Exhibit Proposal Form and Authorization to record, publish and broadcast form. Submit completed forms to Sarah Myers at smyers@messiah.edu
Available Spaces/Supplies
Murray Library has the following spaces available for exhibits:
Trophy Case:
- Description: Large enclosed glass display area containing 4 adjustable shelves and lit from the top.
- Location: As you enter Murray Library, turn left and the trophy case is located right past the Research Help Desk.
- Dimensions: 27" (x4) x 92" (total height) x 22" deep. Shelving height, top to bottom - 16" / 19" / 19" / 19" / 20.5" (adjustable).
Vitrines:
- Description: 2 glass display cases.
- Location: Right inside the second main entrance door, to the left.
- Dimensions: 43.5" x 12" (height) x 22" deep, 33" from the ground to display surface.
Foyer Display:
- Description: Hanging glass display area containing 2 adjustable shelves and lit from the top.
- Location: Right inside the first main entrance door, to the right.
- Dimensions: 44" x 43" (height) x 15.5 " deep. Shelving height, top to bottom - 16" / 14" / 13".
Document Cases:
- Description: 2 glass display cases
- Location: Lower level - to the right of the staircase
- Dimensions: 42" x 6 1/2" (height) x 24" deep.
Supplies that are available for exhibit use:
- Picture frames in the following sizes - 4" x 6", 5" x 7", 6" x 8", 8" x 10", 11" x 14", 12" x 16".
- Clear display stands in various sizes
- Clear cradles in various sizes
- Props/Stands (white, black, and colorful)
