New Educator Orientation: Open Access

Open Access Resources

Mosaic = Messiah's Open Scholarship and Intellectual Creativity

This Institutional Repository (IR) brings together all of Messiah University's research, history, and creative works under one umbrella, with an aim to preserve and provide access to that research. Works can be made accessible to the public or restricted to the Messiah campus.

Open Educational Resources (OER)

Open Educational Resources are teaching, learning, and research resources that reside in the public domain or have an intellectual property license that permits their free use and re-purposing by others. They are often peer-reviewed and funded through grants. Let the librarians suggest textbook replacements for your courses! (We can also purchase multi-user ebooks in some cases)
