Information literacy is an essential part of a liberal and applied education. The Information Literacy Program at Messiah College is designed to be consistent with and supportive of the College-Wide Educational Objectives, Curricular Principles for General Education, and related College documents.

Information Literacy involves the ability to:

  • evaluate information
  • cite and manage information effectively
  • use information ethically
