Circulation: Group Study Room Guidelines

Friday....................8:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday...............10:00am – 6:00pm
Sunday.................2:00pm – 11:00pm

Murray Library provides three group study rooms for groups of patrons to use:
Room 116, 118, 119. Any Murray Library patron can call or stop by the Circulation Desk to sign-up for a group study room before the date of their requested reservation. The Circulation Desk will have sign-up sheets available for all upcoming days of the current month. Patrons can select which date/time/room they prefer. 
Please note: Same-day reservations can only be made by signing up on the clipboard on the individual room doors.  

• Study rooms are booked in 1/2 hour increments.

• The maximum number of hours per day a group may book a room is 3 hours (up to six 1/2-hour slots).

• Minimum number of attendees per group is 2 people.

• Grace period for attendance is 15 minutes. At least 2 attendees of a group must be present within the grace period or the reservation will be cancelled.

• Groups are expected to leave the room clean and in order when they are finished.

• Individuals may use group study rooms, but will be asked to vacate if a group makes a reservation.

• The space is first-come first-serve if there are no active reservations.
